11 days and counting - for unlock

Anonymous
Not applicable

So after 11 days, and many hours of repeating the same conversation with numerous "GURUS" O2 have managed to let me down, ignore me, make countless empty promises and totally fail to unblock my device. A customer with them foe years, they seem to be actually obstructing me! Hoping I will finish my holiday before I get my phone unlocked perhaps?

And this morning I just recieved a new unlatching code from the special department case escalation emergency crack team of super gurus!!! And guess what? It doesn't work!!!

The account can be unblocked more or less straight away but the IMEI can and often does take over a week.

They keep saying its unblocked but still the same i have told them to cancel my contract and i will just call it a day

You may well then have a handset that you can't use.

The block still needs lifting from your account.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Ofcom have voted us No.1 for Customer Service Satisfaction, for the 7th time in a row. We've also won Website of the Year two years running.

Ha ha ha hah ah ha hah hah hahahahah ha ha ha!!!!!! Just saw this on the 02 website.

How could another company be more impotent, apathetic, misguided and downright untruthful than this mob??

So after 26 days and endless hours with phone, e-mail and quick chat, I took it into a shop and was told it will have to be sent away and will take "a week or so" and they couldn't offer me a handset in the meantime. So I went to one of the independent phone repair shops and guess what?

........................TWO HOURS!!!!!! and 30 quid! Solved! Phone unlocked!

02 SIM straight on the fire!

Thanks again to you guys for giving a toss! You were a thousand times more useful than "No.1 for Customer Service Satisfaction" 02.

Hi @Anonymous So pleased you have eventually got this phone unlocked.. Totally ridiculous that you had to get it done at a cost to yourself......At least now you are free to move where you like. Best of luck wink
