help im going nuts, i been to mexico and switched data roaming off and also cellular on my iphone 6 but ive been charged £120 for data abroad just on one day of my holidays any ideas how this could have happened , spoken to apple they said that this cannot happen

I would think that O2, and indeed all the networks must love iPhones.The ordinary user, who isn't all that technically savvy, probably isn't aware of the fact that the iPhone automatically switches from WiFi to data when it goes into sleep mode, and runs up people's bills without them knowing. Must be very comforting for them.
