iphone 5

Swapping to the new iphone 5 has been & still is a nightmare. We've spent a fortune upgrading the computer etc. It still won't let us in to emails on Yahoo or let us save contact numbers & we have tried everything under the sun.

We have got a Pay as You Go sim in the old iphone 3 & this is picking up emails etc no problem but it's not ideal.

Would like to swap the contract back to the old phone but can't get any help with this from o2

Any ideas?

When it asks you to confirm your password, try logging in to your yahoo account on a pc and complete the security check. Then try again on your iPhone. That's what the apple store guy told me to try when I had problems setting up my yahoo account, and its worked for me. Something about an extra security step that can't be done on your phone so needs a pc.

You've upgraded your computer for your iPhone 5? Explain more please.

If you really want to go back to the old iPhone 3 your only option is to do a sim swap from your iPhone 5 to the iPhone 3s sim. This will transferee your contract to the other SIM card.

Or txt

Swap to 20220 from your iPhone 5

Now the other option you'd have is let us help you with your iPhone 5 we've got an aweful lot of experience with error fixing here:)

If you'd like help please say ill (and others) will happily help you:)

It's known that yahoo and idevices are a little glitchy.

I use an iPhone 5 and MBA and occasionally the push facility goes a bit wobbly and asks me to re confirm my password which I know is right !

Touch wood up to now this hasn't happened recently.

I assume your up to date with the newest iTunes and iOS software.

Try refreshing by inputting your email details again.

Where are you trying to save contact numbers ?
