iphone 4s volume

can you get the volume louder on a 4s as it seems quieter than my previous iphones

Press the top button and home button until the apple logo appears and let go to re boot the phone.

The volume may then improve.

If you have a shield on the phone make sure it's not hindering the mic

Make sure the speaker etc are clean.

its only when i listen to music though

Check another set of earphones in the phone.

Your primary set may be shot.

playing music, it says halfway on white, then one bar yellow then the rest are red

Now you have said music

Check settings> music> sound check off

and volume limit off
