Here's one of them - also a 5s http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Can-t-receive-calls-or-texts-on-4G-Connection/td...

The other here (doesn't say but is on a 5s thread) Scroll down to bottom http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple-iOS-Devices-iPhone-iPad/Data-problems-5s-4g/m-p/564796#U564796

There doesn't seem to be a general problem reported anywhere so maybe specific to O2?

Another customer fixed the issue with a sim swap http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Can-t-receive-calls-or-texts-on-4G-Connection/m-...

Try the following:

On the phone keypad type in *#5005*7672# - this tells you the message centre number installed in the handset

P&G should show : +447802092035  Monthly : +447802000332

If it doesn't, type in the sequence below.

##5005*7672# this deletes the message centre number

Then **5005*7672*+447802092035# (for prepay customers}

or     **5005*7672*+447802000332#   (for pay monthly)

Don't forget the + sign

Worked fine , thankyou.

You're very welcome. To add, if you still have a problem after switching the phone off and on you probably have the wrong type of simcard as the message centre number is read from the Sim card. Contract and P&G sims hold different data.
