iPhone not connecting to o2

My new iphone wont seem to recognize O2, its just showing no network. Its a new sim card with my previous number. Any ideas how to fix this? Maybe the sim card isnt properly sorted out?

How long since the number transfer?
It can take upto 24 hours sometimes....

Have you done the sim swap ?

If so check your service status here http://status.o2.co.uk/

 

and keep turning it off and on.

How long ago did you do the sim swap process it can take upto 24 hours to complete

no, its an O2 number, and it was 24 hours ago. I'll try the turning it off and on a couple of times, thanks guys!
