Waiting for CS to open and cancelling. Was told yesterday it was dispatched, but was skeptical as hadn't received any emails or such. Went on chat there and they said it's still waiting to be sent out by 23/9.
o2 is a joke. I'll stick with ee.

And now Im told that stock of (and I quote) "all colours and capacities of the iPhone 7 will be available at your local O2 shop"
Have they held stock back from pre orders to ensure stores are stocked?!?!

This is either one big marketing stunt and we'll all get our phones today or they have messed up to a level which can not be execused. At the end of the day there can be no excuse for Apple or O2 not knowing the level of demand for these devises on launch day. I mean they have been selling them for 9 years!

Just spoken with O2 CS. The upshot is that they have not got enough stock to fulfil all pre orders. They expect to fulfil all the orders by Monday and will make deliveries over the weekend to fufil the backlog.
They also confirmed anyone who does not recieve their phone today will recieve compensation. What that will be is not yet clear.
So keep an eye on your emails / texts for the next few days but unless you've recieved an message from DPD last night you wont be getting your iPhone today.

I ordered the iphone 7 plus 128gb in jett black online, I had my order number come through to me by 8:03 am on the 9th. I am a new O2 customer and am I am disappointed I have had no updates since the day of pre-order. I have just spoken to O2 who told me that they are waiting for more stock? I wouldn't have gone with O2 had I known that I would be waiting for my new device.

I would have bought the phone outright with Apple had I known o2 were going to be messing us all about. As it stands I can't because I had to pay £330 to pay off my old contract which I won't get back and of course the upfront fee of £59.99 so I'm pretty stuck.
