iPhone 6 keeps dropping service

Anonymous
Not applicable

I'm on IOS 8.0.2 and my iPhone 6 keeps losing service.  One minute it will be fine and the next minute it will show No Service, without me moving it or touching it.  I never had a problem with service on my iPhone 5 in the same places, so it does seem to be specific to this handset.

Anybody else having an issue like this?

I have had a new iPhone 6 (which I had to pay £29 to get replaced unless I wanted to be without a phone for a while...) but I am still having the same issue 😞

I need to try a new SIM now.

Not sure why a fee was involved but at least you can rule out the phone now.....

I have the same problem with my iPad 2 - since the iOS8 update...

Did the geniuses say it's a known problem?

Wifi drop has been discussed in various forums and blogs since iOS 8.0

Hopefully Apple have looked at this and other bugs when they release ios 8.1 on Monday.

I've not experienced any 3G drop on iOS 8.0.2.

You didn't mention WiFi at all did you....?

A quick Google would suggest that many are suffering drop outs on iOS8.

Hi @ComaChameleon

I was trying to portray that many had issues with WiFi dropping off with iOS 8 and not so much with 3G - I submit not very well 😞

My apologies.
