iPhone 6- PreOrder

Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

Although it will be an upgrade it wasn't ordered directly through my account so doesn't show up under my order

I ordered late on the 12th at which time the delivery time had slipped to "2 or 3 weeks", so technically my iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Space Grey is still on schedule. What's annoying is the perceived unfairness of allocating phones to customers that is not being done according to time and date of order. Also a simple email from o2 perhaps saying "we understand your frustration and wer'e trying our best" would help.

I ordered on the 16th from CPW, I received my iPhone 6 plus 128gb Gold as that was my original order on launch day 19th but I decided to swap it from the iPhone 6 128gb Gold as the plus was too big for me, I went into my local CPW for an exchange and finally picked it up today.

@Anonymous
I cancelled last Friday from ordering preorder day. They dont care, they cancelled the order within seconds and sent me a PUK code instantly! I moving networks tomoro, just been waiting to get paid because O2 have still not refunded me for the handset. I chased yesterday and again could be 3-5 days, could be 7-14 but may even be up to 28! Not holding my breath for it back anytime soon. Im not bothered about the handset but just sick of the lies.

Ive spoken to 3 other networks on different days and the information has been the same every time. No lies, just the same info every time.

Been a customer of O2 for 14 years and never in all my life received such disappointing service. I understand Iphone launched are a pain but at least brief the staff with the same information and stop lying to customers.

Seriously, when I saw the order delivery dates I already knew I didn't want to refresh and wanted to leave to CPW to open a new contract, I got my phone and thats that. CPW have every model in stock now and so do Apple stores

this whole Iphone thing with O2 is a complete farce, recieved a parcel left next door when i got home. Opened up a nice shiny new Iphone 6 16g space grey.... Not what I ordered, my name my number etc... Phoned customer services to be told my phone ordered is definitely a 6 plus 64g silver and is awaiting stock, and they have no idea why Ive been sent this phone, it must be an error so can i bob it in the post and send it back as its not noted on my account anywhere.

I paid £170 to upgrade early. If I now decided to cancel my order because of the time its taking, could I get my PAC code? Basically is my contact finished with O2? Bear in mind that the £170 included a 25% discount.
