Unless a confirmation of stock has been made today (ie *after* when we all got that text message) then I expect it's just another yarn being spun by CS. The last day for o2 to fulfill my order within the timescale of 2-3 weeks would be friday, but I've already had the text message stating that they won't be able to fulfill my order, so they're obviously anticipating that.

O2: We're sorry, we can't get your new iPhone to you on the date we had hoped. It's been really popular and unfortunately our delivery has been delayed. When it arrives we'll get your order straight out to you. If it's more than 7 days we'll get back in touch with an update.
