iPhone 6- PreOrder

Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

If its any help 6+ 64gb silver in basket at 7.54am (according to the first mail saying 72 hours), finally managed to complete order just after 2pm (according to confirmation email), has been sitting at 'in progress' since then.

Not worried as its been paid for and will get here when it get here

Well I've got movement on my account I now have a parcel number and courier name, but they both say unable to display, lol getting closer tho

Mine says despatch date 16th. Unable to display on tracking and courier.

I thought id make a thread specifically for iPhone 6 + preorders.

It seems to regular 6 is now on its way out but still no movement on the 6+.

Has anybody who ordered through any channel got dispatch notification on an iPhone 6+

I ordered a silver 16GB 6+ at about 6PM on the 12th

Just rang O2 they assured me that all customers who ordered on Friday will receive updates via text or email from uk mail regarding delivery for today she sed they will be dispatched today. Then another update tomorrow from uk mail with a 2 hour delivery window and usually deliver upto 5 but due to the volume of deliveries they will deliver up to 7. She sed all staff were briefed on that this morn so everyone should receive the same info

We always understood that the 6 would be dispatched first...then they would start sending out the 6 plus (probably 2-3 weeks later)

Oh yh and because they're sending these messages out throughout the day we should leave it until this evening to contact them if we haven't recieved 1 as it will be an all day process

I ordered the 6+ 64gb in silver grey on the 12th, spoken to O2 yesterday, and was told they would be dispatched on Friday and that I would get an email Friday morning, my O2 shows as "in progress", I suspect they are reading from a script just to keep people happy, not happy that I keep reading that people who ordered after last Friday are getting updates that state that their phone is on route.

I think as usual...what was said before pre-order day and what is happening now are two different things?

Certainly it was relatively well documented that they would send out the 6 first...then start on the 6 plus...

It will be interesting to see if that is the case...after the weekend
