iPhone 6- PreOrder

Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

Right, I saw that, but does this mean no one (unless collecting from store) will get the phone on 19th?

Most likely unless collecting in store personally. The earliest postal deliveries could start arriving is the 20th, most likely the 23rd and for many thousands much later than that...... 😞

On chat, when I was ordering Fri at approx 11am, I was told 7-8 days for delivery. Then when i finally managed to pay and complete the order, 3pm ish, it said up to 2-3 weeks from launch. Im not too bothered when I get the phone but just confused with the 2 different delivery estimates. When i was on chat and I have the transcript, the phone was reserved to me until i completed the order and had 72 hours to do so.

Does anyone else have the same info?

I thought 7th October was for those that pre ordered from stores? Having sold out of their initial stock the next date they had was 07/10/14?

For online orders o2 told me phones were despatched from 19th Sep onwards but the guy on the phone said they expect customers that got in first, are to get the phone on launch day. The 2-3 week estimate on the online store was added after initial stock ran out. I believe its now a 4-6 week wait for the 6+.

The carriers never commit themselves. I preorded the iPhone 5 a few days late and still got it on launch day.

I am in a similar position to you. I preorded via chat at around 9am. Got an email saying there was a phone with my name on it. Finally checked out at about 1pm. When I spoke to o2 on the phone they wouldn't say either way when i'd get it. Just that they had handsets in stock and they would be despatched on a first come first serve basis.

Dont get me wrong, im not really bothered when I get it, just need to know so i can be at home to accept delivery. I actually had the phone in my basket at 7.59am but the website crashed just as I was completing the order. The lady on chat confirmed this when I finally got through.

Oh well i guess its a case off waiting and see. Don't think Ill get it on Friday but who knows.

Well, I very much hope I do get the phone on 19th. For 2 reasons. 1. I'm going away the week after launch for a while. 2. I'm a geek. The later is probably the main reason.

Lol..It would be nice to get it on Friday. Looking fwd to having a big screen, everyone I know has either the the Htc One orsamsung versions etc. but I dont like android or windows. So finally made up Apple have created a phone with a larger screen.
