Hi, sorry, I'm sure this has been asked many many times, so I appologise in advance.

I bought a new iPhone 5 64GB via Carphonewarehouse on Saturday morning (upgraded my current o2 package). They did the sim swap (I hope), and its been well over 24 hours now, and I still can not make, recieve or text from my phone. It has the O2 UK symbol, or 2G. But no bars/signal strength.

Is it just a matter of waiting longer for O2 to swap my sim over, or is there a more serious issue.

I have reset, removed and replaced the sim. Even set phone up as a new phone and restored. Still nothing.

Thanks for any replies.

Sorry! forgot to update this thread with the outcome. I took the iPhone 5 back to CPW and they swapped it for another new (64GB) iPhone 5 and the sim/phone worked straight away. Looks like I had a faulty phone from purchse. All good, and happy now. Thanks for all the help above though.
