When O2 join the same spectrum as EE etc this year, does this mean the iPhone 5 will pick up the O2 LTE/4G on the phone?
I know this may sound like a silly question, but surely if they're both using the same spectrum, the bands will be the same? No?
Or will Apple release a modified network specific model when the auctions have taken place?
Cheers.

Nor will O2's current iPhone 5 work on there up and coming 4G network.
If you have purchased an iPhone 5 already from O2 on contract you do have the benefit of a 4G promise, meaning you qualify for an early upgrade to a 4G compatible device.
I would not worry too much though, chances are the iPhone 6 will be here by then.

So, should Apple release an iPhone 6 this year, existing iPhone 5 owners who purchased within a specific time-frame will be eligible for the early upgrade?

I hope the battery holds out better on the 5s or 6 better as Lte / 4g cains the iPhone 5's battery.
