Just found this thread after doing a bit of Googling. Just had a text from O2 to say that my application for O2 Open discount on my purchase of an iPad Air 2 on Saturday has been refused as "the iPad 2 and iPad Mini 3 are not currently eligible for O2 Open discount" - some of the earlier comments in this thread seem to disagree

Anyone got a discount on the iPad air 2?

Seems like a cracking way to encourage loyalty - I've had three airtime contracts with O2 for the last decade....
