"iOS Bug discovered that allows disabling of 'Find My iPhone' without password."

 

 

So if you have not got your Touch I.D and passcode enabled then Do It Now !!

Is this a non bug but a user issue not applying any sort of protection to thier iphone.

 

I now have fingerprint 4 fingers / thumbs asigned and a 10 digit aplhanumeric passcode

No and it gets left in full view in the pub along with the ipad that also uses a 10 digit code.

 

And also my sims in iphone and ipad are sim pin protected so cannot be removed and used in any other device.

 

I suppose coming from south london we always had to protect things but rural south somerset things are a bit safer.

This is if a user does not use any pass code or finger print id. And rely on a thief or user not being able to use their iPhone due to the activation lock.

Unfortunately this work around is something we didn't want to see.

I've fed this back to apple as I'm sure many others have too.

Yes they have their in house people and beta testers but as with most things some slip through.

I expect to see some form of iOS patch pretty soon hopefully.
