Hi
1st message so please be kind, I couldn't find a thread similar to this topic...
I updated to iOS 7 last night, and now I don't have access to iMessage from my telephone number. It works with my gmail & iCloud email addresses but not on my phone number.
Plus it hasn't activated yet. I love my iPhone 5 and it is doing my head in to get it sorted. I have tried all the work arounds on the web that I can find (reset settings, turn off & on wifi and airplane mode). Plus I have rebooted the phone. Strangely I get this or something similar sent to me by text message every time I try to activate it.

The same thing is happening with my wife's iPhone 4 when updated to iOS 7. I have called O2 couldn't get through as everyone is upgrading, therefore I contacted O2 via chat and they said it is a issue and will be resolved, when?
Does anyone what is going on or what to do?

Try the following if like me, you NEVER touched TuGo:
Ensure you have full backup (mine was to iCloud)
Reset and wipe iPhone.
Restore from iCloud backup.

I have had exactly the same issue with imessage and facetime. I have now had 30 texts from 07786 205094! It is also draining my battery like crazy.

Will give it a try and report back.... Although it shouldn't be necessary as it all worked fine on iOS6

Whoever suggested deleting tugo is an absolute genius...i just followed same instructions to delete and it's worked a treat 😉 can now go to bed satisfied for an uniterrupted sleep without no nuisance texts! Thanks

Hi All, I too was suffering from the crazy txt messages afte trying to activate the imessage and facetime. I finally figured out that it was TuGo that was interfering with the activation process. I had to open TuGo, delete account, then delete the app. Once this was done. Turn off Imessage and off Facetime activation. Re-start the phone (I did it twice), then switch on imessage and facetime again. It activated within 2-3 mins after that. Once done I then re-installed TuGo and all is working perfect...after 3 days of struggling it turns out that the TuGo system was intercepting the activation txt on the system and therefore would not send instruction to hand set. Just a note - if you have TuGo on any other device - delete it first.
I did everything all the websites suggest including wiping the phone, network settings, everything. If you have TuGo then this is the issue, if not - then sorry I just don't know what else it could be.

I have TuGo on my Android tablet not on my iPhone. Does this mean I need to delete Tugo from the tablet and delete my Tugo account then retry imessage and facetime reactivation?
