My iPhone says that it is connected to bt openzone wifi but it does connect to web pages such as BBC Mobile when asked to.Can anybody suggest what may be my problem? If I turn the wifi off it connects ok on 3G.

the openzone has to be one listed in the directory here http://consumero2.directoryconnection.com/search.php

 

If not it is a private / business customers bt broadband (very confusing)

 

Have you recently changed phones?

Many thanks for your advice. Obviously I am  in the wrong kind of openzone because the ones listed via the link that you sent are all miles away.

 

I have not recently changed my phone.

Ok if you had changed phones you may have needed to reset your mac code via a form or sms.

 

Bt made this all confusing by calling all there wifi openzone
