Hi all,
I recently enabled wifi and 4g calling. My iPhone 7+ say's it's all enabled, but I have no wifi calling icon at the top of the screen?
I had the wifi calling icon when I was away for a week and on another wifi connection, but since I have been home, it's disappeared? Is it still working if I don't have wifi calling showing at the top of my screen? even though it's all still showing enabled in settings!
Many thanks.

Wi-Fi calling only works when the wificall icon is active . Otherwise it goes via the cell network . The Wi-Fi it is not working on what is the broadband connection speed?
Apples support page https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203032 states may not Work on all Wi-Fi networks

My BB connection speed is 200MBps
Wifi and 4g calling is enabled on the phone. I have also checked on my o2, that also say's wifi and 4g calling is enabled.
I still have no wifi calling icon on my screen. Should it be there all the time or does it only show when you make a call using wifi and 4g calling?

https://support.apple.com/et-ee/HT202944 ensure your router allows the ports required for wifi calling as per this apple help page

Yes, I'm on Virgin Media broadband. I have opened port 500 as per that link you sent me. I still have no wifi calling icon on the front screen.

more than one port required https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Archive/EE-wifi-calling-blocked-by-Virgin-Media-firewall/m-p/289520 as per the advice in this ee post about virgin media

Opened all of those ports. Still no wifi calling icon, even though it is enabled everywhere, i,e on my phone and in my o2 account.
I think i'll give up!

Have you tried the other options regarding the firewall on the ee post . If it works on non virgin media connections I would raise a complaint with Virgin media as your broadband supplier and get them to allow the wifi calling ports by default
P.s. have you rebooted router and phone toi make sure all changes are reflected
