Upgrading

I'm trying to upgrade my iPhone to the new iPhone 12. There is only 1 tariff option which is unlimited texts, minutes and data. It doesnt allow me to lower the data. I'll not need Unlimited data , so there's no point in paying for it. Is everyone else being forced to go with this tariff option too when upgrading? When looking at tariff options, through the main website, and not the upgrade route, it allows you a choice of data, so i dont understand why it wont come up in the upgrade section.

Hi @helpme2 

Sometimes the website is updating at this time of night so you might be better off trying again tomorrow.

If there is no change then call O2 and see what they can offer in the way of an upgrade.

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen if you have to.

No, haven’t got sorted yet. Still have me the same option. I have been working all day and missed the window to speak to an advisor.
