Solved: Unlocking Iphone 3GS on Itunes?

I phoned O2 up yesturday wanting to unlock my phone, I'm moving to America on Sunday and need my american sim to work. They said theyll unlock it within 72 hours, but I got a text an hour after phoning them saying my phone was unlocked and I need to connect it to itunes....I did, and nothing happened!? My American Sim is still not being accepted. Is there something I need to click on itunes? I read somewhere on a forum i need to restore my phone (delete everything) did that, still nothing.

Any advice?

Just try it again later as it can take a while for both systems to catch up.

As said give it a while.

Your not required to restore it delete anything.
