Hi, guys. My situation is a little bit complicated. Advice plz.
I bought my iphone 3gs three years ago in UK, but now I live in another country. I used it under O2's network when i was in UK and did not unlock it before I left UK.
Is there any way I can unlock it now? I have already filled the unlock form, but not sure if it will work as in the end of the form it said they will sms me how to unlock it whithin 14 days.
I cannot receive the sms as I am not in UK and cannot find the old sim card.
Help plz!

Unless there is an o2 simcard in the phone and o2 can see it against the IMEI I fear you will have problems getting it unlocked through o2.
I presume you put your old mobile number on the form?
O2 normally text or email you when the phone has been unlocked. In the meantime all you can do is keep connecting it to itunes with the foreign network sim to see if you get the unlock message.
Your only other option would be to have it unlocked locally but it's not something I would recommend. (presuming you aren't coming back to the UK anytime soon)
