Unable to make calls

I am unable to make outgoing calls. When I ring any number it's silent then goes onto the timer as if I'm on the call. I rang my boyfriend's number and it rang through, he picked up but I couldn't hear anything. Unable to find any online chat service anymore for 02 to get advice

Firstly try taking your sim out, wiping it and putting it back into the phone. See if his helps.

Hi James. Hasn’t helped unfortunately. I’ve just realised I can’t make outgoing calls and when someone rings me they can’t hear me

Does it work if someone calls you (can you hear them)?
If you put your sim in another phone does it work then, and does another sim work in your phone?

Do you have a cover on the phone?

Yea I do. I’ve had it on my phone for over a year now

Yea I can hear the person if they call me.
Will try the SIM cards
