Tu Go on I.pad how to make calls from Europe.

I have watched the short videos but I am still not clear if I can make calls on my I.pad fro a European country which should only be charged to my monthly allowance.Why does it say turn Airplane mode on.I am worried about Data usage if I use it abroad.Any info please.

It's advised to use local wifi to stop massive data charges or get a local SIM card for iPad.

The ipad data tariff is a pre paid uk only data allowance.

TuGo is free to use anywhere in the world as long as you are connected to wifi.


If you're using TU Go over the mobile network then you'll have to pay the normal roaming charges.

If you're using TU Go over WiFi only, your calls and texts will cost the same as they would if you were in the Uk and will come out of your monthly allowance.

Just to ensure the phone connects over wifi and not mobile data.

Thanks that was easy I went into O2 shop today and they were useless they should train their staff when they bring out a new app.Cheers
