Trying to locate insurance details with regards to your phone?

I have currently had my iPhone 5 now since March but unfortunately have a cracked screen due to the phone falling out my pocket.

Just wondered is there a way you could check to see your insurance details with regards to the phone.

I am unfortunately having no look whatsoever trying to find it on my O2 page.

I have spoke with one of the customer services via chat and explained my situation but unfortunately was unable to help me.

Can anybody help?

Did you take out an insurance policy when you got the phone? Call Customer Services on 202 if you're a contract customer, or 4445 if you're PAYG. Live Chat won't be of any help to you.

I don't know how you could be unsure, as it's a minimum of an extra £6/month on your bill. It should tell you that on your MyO2 page, so if it doesn't, the chances are you haven't taken any insurance with O2. Doesn't hurt to call Customer Services and ask, I suppose. If you have home contents insurance you could be covered under that. Some banks have cover for phones as well.

If it turns out you have no insurance it would probably be best to take it to apple for an out of warranty repair/exchange
