Do you know how much it costs for an Iphone 5 screen to be replaced?
Many thanks

Yes that is very interesting @Cleoriff as the apple site says 216.44 and that is from Jonsies link
I was talking about the opening line (posted by jayjay) where he first made mention of the £119 fee @Anonymous i.e......
"you can now get your screen fixed for your 5s in Apple stores now, so no need to send the phone off as they will do it instore the cost is £119 for ther service but you still have to make an appointment as usual.. but at least you can get your screen replaced same day!"
it was a few days after that post that my young relative had hers done in Birmingham and was told £90 had she been out of warranty. Forgot to say she also had a problem that the screen display was only showing half...and they fixed that as well.
I honestly came to the conclusion that it was dependent on store location ...and if they had some sort of offer on....:smileywink:

I would have replied @Anonymous but the O2 site appeared to 'go off for maintenance' just as I was typing
Normally I wouldn't have been involved in this sort of thread....(as I know nothing regarding iphone screen repairs).
It was coincidental that I had first hand knowledge (on this occasion) due to my relatives iphone screen being smashed....It was obvious at that time if you wanted a good deal on a repair then you got yourself over to the Birmingham store and they would have done it for £90...2-3 weeks ago...:smileywink:

Remarkably cheap and I'm concerned about the quality of the repair...

Possibly a DIY job after ordering the necessary parts off auction sites.
You are probably right BoB. When my relatives iPhone screen got smashed she looked on Ebay (as my son used to work repairing phones). She could have got one for that sort of price. I must admit I talked her out of it for the reasons jonsie mentioned.....
