If you don't mind waiting you can call CS and they will post one out to you http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

She needs to pop to an O2 shop to get her own and they will simswap for her.

Your old sim is now de activated so no

You can only sim swap to an account specific Blank Sim Card.

I'm sure someone posted on here that they did this successfully....

I would have thought a new simcard was needed but you never know. The old sim is only deactivated because there is no number attached to it.

I think swap the sim card have a some not easy.

the first things is swap process is so simple, but you wait result is so long , 24 hours.but maybe not success.

Like me: I take a new nano simcard on O2 shop and swap at home 10pm last night.,and today morning I find my old simcard(big one) is stop and I use nano simcard inside another iphone 5,but show can't use.

The time already 25hours.I try use O2 CS ,but all time show live chat is busy can't use,I can't check the result online.

The second things is my iphone5 buy from carphone warehouse, with a pay as you go simcard is for vodafone .I think the phone is muilt network use sell by carephone warehouse.

But now like this simcard show no signal and then I'm not sure it is unlock.

so much guess and I need to wait ,maybe I need to go to shop to check tomorrw.

Something strange here, it does sound like the phone is network locked but go back to the store to have it checked.
