I’ve ordered an iPhone XR to arrive tomorrow. I have an iPhone 7 currently. Do I need to change the sim or is it easiest to take the one out of my current handset and put it in the new handset?

@Claire3  All iPhones since the 5 have taken a nano sim, so no need to change. I'm not an iPhone person, so I don't know what other adjustments you'd have to make.

@Claire3

Just use your current sim, as you are going from iPhone to iPhone, there should be no problems at all
