Problem With Visual Voicemail Since iOS 12

Is anyone else having problems with Visual Voicemail since the iOS 12 update? People can leave a message but I don't get any notification and nothing within the voicemail section of the phone app.

 

I have tried resetting, changing and updating settings on my phone, but have just found out it is also happening on my wife's phone, so it is either to do with iOS 12 or O2.

Tried that one, didn't work I'm afraid.

 

I have read that you need the iData bolt on, but can't find that information on my account anywhere. I have had an iPhone since the 3G model, so should have always had it.

Have you reset your network settings?
What is your apn set to?
iData should be already on your account but you'll need to call customer services to check it's enabled.

Yes reset settings, but my wife is having the same problem so don't think it is that.

 

APN is idata.02.co.uk, username vertigo.

If you change the apn to to "mobile.o2.co.uk" and it works, it means you don't have iData enabled.

That didn't work either. I think I will have to call O2 tomorrow.

Yes I have rebooted.

 

Strange thing just happened, 2 messages just arrived 2 hours late. Just tried voicemail again but nothing appears, so messages are being delayed somewhere.

Might just ba a coincidental local network issue as you seem to be setup OK.
