How do you enable Visual Voicemail on O2? (I am a Pay Monthly contract customer.)

This Apple support page says that O2 support Visual Voicemail: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/108048

Make sure O2 know you are using an iPhone and turned on iData in your account

Guide: How to find help & contact O2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Jon-

You need iData.

Contact O2 to have it enabled on your account.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I can't find any information on iData anywhere, and O2 support also didn't seem to know. However they did manage to get Visual Voicemail working (despite not knowing what that is either!), I think mostly by correcting their data about my account so it correctly says I have an iPhone.

Result, @Jon- - the persistence that one has to apply to get a working solution beggars belief at times.

Indeed - I've been a customer (this time) for over a year I think without having Visual Voicemail, because the customer support person I spoke to last year insisted that O2 didn't support Visual Voicemail (despite me pointing out that O2 were the original iPhone partner and the first UK company to support it!)
