Solved: Phone trade in

Hi I am thinking about upgrading my phone and seen that o2 are giving customers £150 for their old phone. I have an old iPhone I used for work that I wanted to trade in but since it was from my work the Apple ID was not mine so I am locked out off the 0hone and the company is no longer in buisness, does anyone know if I can still trade this in or is the phone now useless?
