cant get into my phone because of apple id

i lost my phone the other night so i had it blocked, yesterday i bought a new phone but i cant gain access to it because of the 6 diget code that is sent to your number, i dont know what to do?

Have you reported the old phone lost @andy811 ?

If yes, o2 should send out a replacement sim to the address on your account.

If not then you should do - otherwise you will be liable for any charges that are put onto your account.

To contact o2 you can either call them on 202 if you pay monthly, or 4445 if you are pay as you go.

Alternatively you can message them on social media - links below.

yes i paid the outstanding balance on the lost handset yesterday in shop and got a new handset and sim card, they did tell me it could take upto 24 hours for my number to be activated but my thoughts are if i cant access the phone then how will this work?
