O2 phone app error message

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi there,

I have been using the O2 phone app successfully for some time now, to access my O2 accounts, until recently when I cancelled one of my accounts where the contract had ended. When I now try to access the app on my iPhone 4s, I get the following error message:

"Failed to get user identity, possibly due to unlinking of MSISDN from account (Code 36)"

I have tried deleting then reloading the app, to no avail!.... any ideas anyone?

  Cheers

  Kev Mc

Yes, you should be able to re-register with one of your other numbers.

Sounds like it was the lead account that was deleted which has deleted access to the others.
You will need a new log in now.

Jonsie and MI5..... many thanks for the quick replies...... what you suggest sounds about right..... I take it that I can simply create a new account here on the website?
