O2 Wi-fi not working

Anonymous
Not applicable

I got a used iPhone 6s Plus. Whenever I try to log into the O2 Wi-Fi is shows that the network is on, but no content can be downloaded. It's not even asking me to register for wi-fi. Other hot spots like the network on the Underground are working.

I also treid to "forget" the O2 wi-fi and log on again, but it's still doing the smae thing...its a pretend log in. I've run out of data as I'm normally using the hot spot in my gym.

can anyone help?

Hi,

thanks for the link. Sadly the registration site does not come up and when I try to go online it says Safari cannot connect to the internet as I don't have a connection. Meanwhile the phone shows me it's connected to the O2 wi-fi.

Quite a few reports of this just lately.
It would appear that calling customer service to reset your WiFi is the only way.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Hey @Anonymous please do let us know how you get on with this and if anything improves with the wi-fi connection on your phone?

Cheers @Cleoriff and @MI5 for your advice!
