O2 Refresh - 30GB Auto upgrade programme for iphon... - Page 4

So the new iphone is approaching and forcasr for maybe 16th September.

Last year I signed up to the Refresh 30Gb tarrif that entitles me to an upgrade to the new model after a year. The year will be up on 26th Spetember.

Does anyone know how O2 will handle this ?

If we have to wait until that date will a phone have been put aside for me on that date ?

or, will they let us have the new model on 16th September

or will they have run out by 26th due to low launch inventory and I have to wait an unknown amount of time ?

Anyone got any ideas ?

From what i can tell the insurance had gone anyway - I paid off my phone and placed a new order on Friday.

I didnt fancy wiating till 25th Sep then being at the end of a queue for my preferred model.

Im staggared O2 are treating customers on their top tarrifs like this. Simply complacent.

I did the same as @AngryWarlock

I also decided that for £6p/m over 24 months = £144, which is £25 more than AppeCare+

I'll buy AC+ when my new phone arrives.
