If you upgraded, use your old SIM or do a SIM swap to activate the new one.

Don't worry about 5G currently. People have been having issues with it over last few days.

4G will do exactly what you want. It works well for me.

You need to be in a strong 5g area to get 5g which is limited currently. There are also some issues with 5g so don't worry about it for now.
