Losing my mind here, iPhone unlock help please :(

Anonymous

OK, so for the past 4 days ive been trying to unlock my iphone 4, first 3 times its told me that I have answered the security questions wrong, now twice i've tried, and its saying that it's rejecting because of multiple requests.

Emailed o2 and they said because ive not contacted via website they cant reply? sent me to "online chat" and cannot get a word in to anybody. Keeps saying either chat not initialised or just not connecting at all. Is there anything i'm doing wrong or anyway around this?

Or simply does anybody know what to do when i get the "multiple request" email, how long it takes to disappear etc.

Losing my mind here Crazy

Thanks, Lisa.

After numurous attempts, i got through to someone called Jordan an o2 guru, went through the exact same question process and said it would be done in 72 hours. Fingers crossed!!

Have yo used the unlock form?

https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&q1=2&route=unlocking&case=Handset%20Unlocking%20Form

I would call o2 as live chat is not recommended on here

I would call o2 and ask how long it will take before you can request the unlock again.

Hi @Anonymous

Sometimes O2's system can kick your requests out of too many requests are made.

Its all to protect you and your iphone.

Fingers crossed.

You should recieve an e mail.

Insert a non o2 sim card in the iphone and hook up to iTunes to complete the unlock.

Theirs nothing stopping you trying this before you get the e mail too.

Some have found the unlock to have happened but the e mail was late / unsent.
