I have an iphone 4 on pay as you go, my cat has just knocked it off my knee into a cup of coffee :(, the top half went in, so no liquid got in through the charger bit, it now wont come on, ive put it in rice like many say, are there any other options, is there a chance of it working again as I bought it outright for £400+ and have no insurance!
Also just incase, does anyone know how much an iphone4 16gb is on pay as you go? I cannot find the price anywhere online, it just directs me to stores that have it in stock.
Thankyou

I've found one for £356 ill pm you the link if you want.
As for the liquid damaged one. You could take it to an apple store but I'm unsure how much they'll charge.(ill try and find out for you)
EDIT: apparently they may well sell you a refurb at a reduced price £149+ from what I can find.

water damage is not covered so that makes it an out of warranty repair / replacement
"Certain damage is ineligible for out-of-warranty service, including catastrophic damage, such as the device separating into multiple pieces, and inoperability caused by unauthorized modifications. However, an iPhone that has failed due to contact with liquid may be eligible for out-of-warranty service."

That's terrible, have you considered legal action against the cat?
One day you'll laugh about this, maybe not for a while though.........!

no book an apple genius appointment at an apple store and pay £119 as per the table I posted above
If to far then you need to use the postal service .
O2 do not do this and will send it away to a 3rd party and will take several weeks.
