Iphone 5 switched off!

Help! My iphone 5 has decided to switch itself off yet it had a full battery charge! Im not sure what to do?!

try holding sleep and home button until the apple logo appeares then let go it should reboot.

It might be worth going into Settings/General/About, scroll down and touch Diagnostic & Usage, then touch Diagnostic & Usage Data. Have a look in the log for any entries called PANIC.PLIST. If there are any entries with this name, your iPhone has an hardware issue (logic board fault if I'm not mistaken) and the only way to fix it is to get your iPhone replaced.

 

If you live near an Apple Store, you can make a Genius Bar appointment to get the iPhone look at, replaced. Tell them you have restored as new (as that's the first thing they'll ask you if you've done). You will more than likely walk out with a new iPhone.

 

I had an issue with my iPhone 4S last year whereby it would switch off for no reason, and the PANIC.PLIST was the cause.
