This seems to be a recurrent theme on here, but i am unable to send mms with photos attached using my iphone 3gs. Please can someone help. I'm not a fan of O2, they just told me the other day I only have 2g signal and that I shouldn't expect anything else!

It might be better to switch off mobile data and just use wifi if you now don't have a data plan.

Send photos via email, much better way & guaranteed to work

Text ACTIVE to 2020 to update your settings.
Out of interest with the 2G/3G issue where do you live? Have you checked the signal checker?

@Stuart,
As long as you are not using O2 Mail

If you have an iphone data bolt on make sure your APNs are set to idata.o2.co.uk
Standard data bolt on set your APNs to mobile.o2.co.uk
You also will need to switch off wifi to send mms on the 3GS.

For the record, I bought my iphone through the O2 website and was told in a live chat that coverage was 'excellent'. (This was before the 'live coverage checker' was introduced.) Actually the nearest mast is over 3km away and only carries 2G. My postal code is CO14 8JT, North Essex, hardly the end of the world.
I'm running 6.0.1 on my phone. How do I access APN settings?
