Iphone 4s call drop..

Anonymous

Hi all,

My Iphone 4s is just over a year old so out of warrenty now with Apple and its now has a fault. Basically everytime I make a call i'll be lucky if it lasts 2 minutes before it cuts out and loses signal. I have insurance with o2 which funny enough doesn't cover faults, which I find a bit pathetic but hey ho thats the way it is.

Does anyone here know if I take it in to apple, will they repair or replace it and how much it would cost?

I'm new to all of this so not sure on the process.

Thanks for you help slight_smile

I assume your talking about excess fees ?

o2 Insurance is a solid one to have IMO.

No mate, I actually upgraded early last year in the shop and was told that all I had to play was £80 which I paid straight up. Next thing I know my next bill was £160! Rang O2 up and they said there was other charges but the shop didn't tell me at the time. I was annoyed to say the least!

It can be normal for a person to be so caught up in a purchase that the small print becomes foggy.

Im not saying they didnt pass the info on.

Hope you get sorted out.

Didn't get anything sorted, Apple said it was an issue with O2's network and O2 are saying that its a hand set fault and as i'm not inside my warranty neither will do anything about it..So don't know what to do now! Honestly think i've had enough of O2 and Apple, think i'll switch to EE and samsung once this contract is up.

You could try both cleaning the sim and or visiting an o2 store to have a new one supplied and they will transfer your number and tariff over to it for you.

Also ask o2 to check your account to ensure its ok.
202 for pay monthly and 4445 payg.

Try switching to 2g
