I want one I can treat like the newspapers in Harry Potter land, where I can roll it up and shove it in a pocket or rucksack, then unfurl it to continue reading later. If it let me make and take video calls, all the better. 

For a gold star, if I could roll it up and use it as a telescope... 

Otherwise, I think I agree with  @Cleoriff and, (I think it was!) @MI5 - the offerings today are clumsy and far from elegant.
