I need unlimited data for iphone 5

So i have a iphone 5, ive had it a few months and i love it, i got it with o2 because at the time it had the best price deal... but im now regretting it and wished i'd have paid more and gone with 3. I've had it about three months and i went through the 1gb allowance within seven days of having it and although i am a heavy social networker i use it for nothing more only to upload pics and the odd youtube vid. so i paid a extra five the next month and added another 1gb bolt on, only i used that within two weeks... seriously its ridiculous because on my orange blackberry that much internet would last ages. My friend has a iphone on 3 and has all she can eat data which is annoying because it means she can make the most of her iphone where im restricted and constantly running out of internet and im not even using it for much! im paying 42 pound a month for 2gb of internet at the moment, i think at this much i deserve to have unlimited internet.

I really hope o2 bring in unlimited data again because im not going to be staying with them after this contract ends otherwise.

blackberrys compress data, so thats why you never ran out, to save your data, just use wifi at home & turn off mobile data when you dont need it

i would do that if i had wifi where i live atm, im in a student flat and we currently have no wifi hence my problem

turn off any location settings on apps you have, try downloading onavo or data usage & that will tell you whats eating the data, apps are constantly updating so that uses it as well

I'm afraid O2 don't provide unlimited data and I can't see them doing it anytime soon if three had as many customers as O2 does the network would soon crash

Hi,

I use my iphone 5 heavily with activities such as different forums use, e mail sending and receiving{around 250 a day with attachments}, social media sites, twitter, youtube videos and siri.

I'm forever downloading new tweaks and tweak updates which all burn data.

I'm on 1gb of data a month with a £17.50 payg tariff and ive only gone over once !

From what you state I can't fathom out how your using 2gb a month ?

I was at one time attracted to GiffGaff as they give a pretty good deal with a £12 goodybag which includes Unlimited Data, but unfortunately their Internet service can be a bit glitchy !
