Fake o2 calls

Anonymous
Not applicable

I've had missed calls almost every day this week from the number 01612 776640. I finally answered it today and it was someone claiming to be from o2, but I'm pretty certain it's a scam - they asked questions about my how much I spend per month and said they can offer me a cheaper deal. The girl was really pushy and when I said I wasn't interested she hung up.

Anyone else had these calls?

its intelling ltd, an outsourcing company paid by o2 to convert payg to paym customers. regardless of your thoughts of cold calls or "trusted partners" it is not a scam.

Not sure how that number was identified as Intelling ? I spent 20 minutes googling it last night and absolutely no info on it. Therefore I certainly wouldn't  trust it at all......Sorry but I certainly wouldn't accept any cold call selling me a contract.

Maybe @Anonymous works for them? I stand by my comments however. If you want to upgrade then call o2 or preferably go instore. A trusted partner cannot offer the same deals as o2.

im simply pointing out that the company represents o2, the staff can do anything sales wise that an employee in an o2 shop can do so it is not a "fake call" or a scam.
