FAULTY PHONE!

Anonymous
Not applicable

i purchased my iphone 5c last year and last week my phone would not turn on for no reason i took the phone into the 02 store and sent it for repair. i then was informed by the 02 repair centre that my phone was indeed faulty through no fault of my own. My mum spoke to a lady called Susan (from glasgow office) who was totally non supportive and if 02 are reading this, i suggest you listen in on the conversation, if that is your customer service than ill get my next phone from aldi! we are now having to phone everybody 02,apple, we've currently looked at our customer rights and if needs be we will be exercising them both from the Sales of Goods Act and EU regulations. Neither of these are considered or explained when dealing with issues on goods that 02 have supplied.

Hi @Anonymous

Not a good experience. Why dont you give Apple a ring? They are far better to deal with and will certainly give you superior advice..

O2 don't monitor this site. This is a customer to customer forum.

How old is the phone? It's my understanding that Apple only offer a 12 month warranty.

I think you are right re the 12 month warranty @Bambino....I just think the OP may get a better service from Apple if they give them a ring (even of warranty has expired)...?

Spoke to O2 repairers and they said it's down to O2 because the phone they supplied me is faulty yet they are not interested, I expect when getting a contract for 2 years so the phone to fulfil that timescale at least but their repairers confirmed that the phone is faulty already spoke to apple about it
