Delivery expectations for iPhone 7?

So when I placed my preorder (and paid off my refresh) this morning I saw that the estimate for the phone delivery would be up to 2 weeks for the Rose Gold plus 256GB (the one I ordered) but now when I go to the store to check whether I picked the right colour (the black really does look nice but I've decided I was right to go for Rose Gold) it says orders will be delivered on the 16th ... so those who preordered this morning have to wait 2 weeks but those who preorder right now don't? I'm confused :Z

at 7am this morning I had a text with a msg to say it was coming by 16th via DPD . My o2 didn't have a tracking number last night but it was there this morning

it's a big joke was told up until today my order will arrive tomorrow via UKmail just called O2 and they're saying it's showing out of stock. 

Ordered iPhone 7 128GB Jet Black on 9th september around 10 am after waiting in a queue.

Remember you can place an order with O2 right up until midnight for delivery the next working day

*Update*  

Been told it's showing out of stock for all devices as o2 don't have the stock yet as they will recieve it tomorrow .. they're now telling me I should recieve it tomorrow or by monday .. all a big farce to be honest and don't know what to believe.

Does anyone know if you get a tracking number when your collecting from store. Live chat is as useful as a chocolate fire guard.

I think they're just saying that people's deliveries will arrive on the 16th so then we go "oh great that's fantastic, here's good feedback"

I ordered a black iPhone 7+ 32 Gb, i have confirmation its ordered on my o2, i have just spoken on the phone to the store and the customer service 202 and they said confirmationsare going out today especially for those who preoredered on the day and that by tonight i will have an email with a tracking number and tomorow morning will recieve a txt that i can go collect from store. this was confirmed by the store.
