Delivery expectations for iPhone 7?

So when I placed my preorder (and paid off my refresh) this morning I saw that the estimate for the phone delivery would be up to 2 weeks for the Rose Gold plus 256GB (the one I ordered) but now when I go to the store to check whether I picked the right colour (the black really does look nice but I've decided I was right to go for Rose Gold) it says orders will be delivered on the 16th ... so those who preordered this morning have to wait 2 weeks but those who preorder right now don't? I'm confused :Z

What about click and collect in store? What's likely to happen there..? An email Friday morn..?

Same position as you paddy - I'm guessing they either come in under mass delivery and just allocate it to each collect order as they come in. Or the orders are generated as they would be if going to houses but bypassed to the store in which case there should be tracking.

I will have to look about my 6 to see if that came with tracking cos that was to store delivery. (I was wrong in my previous message about live chat RE: iPhone 6. It was actually regarding my 5s which I had delivered). Now that I think about it - I upgraded my iPhone 5 to 6 in July so it wasn't a preorder and they had them already in stock so I just went and picked it up the next day. 😕

I have just had a text message to say my iPhone 7+ rose gold will be delivered by September 16th by DPD! I ordered at 8.50am last Friday... Looks like tracking is starting to be sent out to people!
