Delivery expectations for iPhone 7?

So when I placed my preorder (and paid off my refresh) this morning I saw that the estimate for the phone delivery would be up to 2 weeks for the Rose Gold plus 256GB (the one I ordered) but now when I go to the store to check whether I picked the right colour (the black really does look nice but I've decided I was right to go for Rose Gold) it says orders will be delivered on the 16th ... so those who preordered this morning have to wait 2 weeks but those who preorder right now don't? I'm confused :Z

I ordered iPhone + black 128 at 8.29 last Friday. No contact since receivjng order number. I have not heard of anyone who has received an iPhone + in either black colour from 02!

Just spoke to someone (obviously AGAIN probably the 100th time 🙈) who says anyone that ordered last week on the 9th he expects to receive their devices this week, if you haven't received a text or email like me apart from your email order confirmation like me he said not to panic, the texts are being sent out in batches, you may not even receive one. Mine is a + 32GB in black ordered on the 9th email confirmation at 09:25 and also received 2 "your order is being processed" emails

Something tells me this how they will operate so the phone lines dont go crazy in one go.

@Toby just wondering whether you know if there is a difference in the way in which pre orders are satisfied for personal and business accounts?

I ordered the jet black 128 on the launch day around midday , mines on the way from DPD for delivery Monday .Its already reached my local depot ! Thank god because the communication was a shambles from o2 . I'm grateful for Monday because of some of the situations you guys are in, but I would have preferred a launch day phone 😕 Maybe next year!

@Toby      I'd like to know this as well I'm on business tariff ordered 1x 7 jet black 128gb & 1x 7 rose gold 128gb on 09th pre order day at 11am and heard nothing.

dont worry were holding your place in the queue and will prirotise your order evidnetly not ordred black iphone 128gb on sunday 11th about 9pm o2 say new orders within a week no update with my order come on o2
