Ok, looking at the general concensus of mostly black phones on order, why dont o2 give us the option to change the colour, this will help them bring down the backlog and will help us all who are willing to get a different colour in order to get the phone sooner?

i didn't receive any text or email since pre-ordering! Total shambles on 02's part.

EE have just updated their customers that they got a new Order in yesterday and will be sending them out to most of their pre orders today. And they will be sending a text tomorrow to anyone who did not receive their phone with an estimated delivery day. What about o2??

Update, 20 September:

• Orders from yesterday’s Apple shipment are going out via our courier, DPD, today. 
  
  If you pre-ordered over the phone or online, you'll receive delivery information by text. 
  
  If you pre-ordered the new iPhone from an EE shop, you’ll receive a call from a store advisor as soon as your handset is ready to collect. 
  
  In the first post of this discusssion please read the section called “What happens when my phone is in stock?” for more information.
  
  
• Tomorrow, EE will send a text to everyone who hasn’t received their pre-ordered iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. This text will contain your individual, expected delivery date. We’ll update you again when we have more information.

ME: I know that there is a waiting list for the IPhone 7 plus, i have one on pre-order and was told yesterday that it was with o2 and being processed for dispatch, However today I find out that this was false info (as i thought) but I have just received a email saying my order is now being processed, it is that same email i received on the 9th, so what does this mean?

CS: Yes there is an latest update that all the customer who have Pre-order the iPhone 7 will receive an text today.

CS: Did you receive any text from O2?

ME: nope, all i have received is the same email i received when i pre-ordered

CS: Great! that means your order is now process and you will be receiving an text soon. As we have started sending text from today.

CS: You will receive an text from O2 today about your delivery date.

CS: You will receive the text before 6:00PM.

ME: Delivery date? So somewhere o2 have my phone
