Crashing out of Apps?

Hi, is anyone have a problem where you are using an app and the just returns to the home screen? Use to happen on my old phone after a few years but wouldn't think it should be happening already. Is there a fix? Thanks

Yes it happened to me too in the past.

Not on iOS 8.0.2 with the apps I have.

Try pressing the home button twice and swipe the tile up to close the app down.

And or delete and re install if it continues or in the extreme restore your iPhone.

Make sure you on the latest version by looking in your App Store.

Which ones are not playing nice ??

The iPhone 6 and 6+ come pre installed with iOS 8.

It's possible the app hasn't been updated yet?

Yes it will be iOS 8 on the 6.

The most popular/better apps will have been updated but some could still be lagging behind a bit.

Thank you. However isn't that iOS 8 causing problems? (or is that just when updating older iphones?)

General thought is.

iPhone 6 and 6 plus have been made to run IOS 8 so should be fine.

Older iPhones were made to run what IOS they were shipped with and are compatible to run the newer IOS releases , if confirmed by apple (typically but with some features not supported. ) so may not run the newer IOS as efficiently.
